Here's an update for all you peeps interested in my goings ons:

I've been working for a few weeks now. I am a surveyor like before (no computer work though). I like the job. My only reservation is that I don't have much time to myself. You guys lucked out in getting this update from me. It was raining alot out so wqe couldn't work. So I'm trying to get like ten things done today. I haven't checked my emails or blogged since I started working. I have money for a mattress but no way to get it to my place (I got paid on Friday. Thank God!). I need a phone but haven't decided whether to get a cell of regular house phone. I plan on finding out today.

Yeah so I work alot of hours. I worked on Sat. and Sun. too. I have a four day weekend coming up. Thats why I decided to work the weekend. Figured I could make it till Thursday. I get paid vacations, even if it's on a weekend!! So Christmas and New Years are paid holidays for me. God blessed me bigtime with this job. The benifits are great for a single person. You get married and it gets expensive and complicated for insurance.

Once I get a vehicle I will have more time to myself. But untill then I get up real early and get home pretty late. I'm getting used to it though. And it's temporary, so I'm not stressed by it anymore. Anyway I have other things to do. Hope everyone is well. Email or something. I'd give you my number but I have no phone yet. Hopefully soon. Today maybe, 10% though. I'll update this over the weekend. And I hope to keep up with it on the weekends too. Until my schedule straightens itself out.

Read "Waking the Dead", by John Eldredge. I like it alot. He wrote "Wild at Heart" too. I think this one's better though. If you want to know how I've been feeling read this book. My roommate handed it to me one day and I've been reading it on the buses and trains to and from work everyday. Another blessing from God. He's so faithful.

Oh yeah, I found a church. I go to Community Fellowships in my old neighborhood. Don't worry it's not like the "unique" church I went to during Mission Year. The Pastor is the V.P. of Mission Year too. I see alot of my old neighbors there too. It's pretty basic. We eat dinner together. Fellowship together. And then Leroy preches. It's simple and practical gospel stuff. All in a good way.

Love you all.
