I'm alive....Really

Hey! I'm here in Mississippi sweating my bum bum off. And I thought...hmmm...I haven't spoken to or heard from anyone. Well, now's not a good time to go into detail (I have more things to do) but I would like to let you know that you can call me at (404) 664-8323 or write me, send goodies (I can play dvd's on my laptop, send those, and candy, seriously) at [Dwayne Volckmann / Orange Grove Volunteer Village / 16148 Robinson Road / Gulfport, MS 39503]

I will update you all soon. I have much to do. But I will tell you this: My poop goes into the sewer now. I hooked up piping from my trailer's septic port to the sewer today. MMMMMMMM. Yummy.

Hello Y'all!! Just kidding. Well, I do mean hello, but not Y'all...err, yes, hi to you but not in the phrase I used. Ok, the Y'all part, was a joke. So ,HEY!
Now that I have lost your attention. I'd like to update you on my life. YAY!! I am now in Miss-iss-uh-ippi. Biloxi, MS. Well, Gulfport to be exact. I had a wonderful 6 hour car ride from Atlanta, GA last night. I arrived at 10:30pm your time, 9:30pm my time. Yep, i have crossed time zones. Dun-dun-daaaa!!
We (the 15 volunteers) start orientation today. I think it goes for like 5 days. And then there's training for another week. After all the neccesary prep work I will move into my TRAILER!!! I'm pretty excited about it. I haven't seen it yet but I like the idea. Not that I aspire to live in one forever. But it will be my own place. A sanctuary of sorts. It's going to be a long time here in the gulf of Mexico. So I need a place to refresh, get away. I managed to fit everything I own in my car and bring it with me. There's still stuff in NY I left behind (ie, my motorcycle) but I dont really need any of it.
I am now alone. Everyone has left to go pick people up from the airport or meet people at the hotel where we are staying during orientation. Oh well, they said I could stay here and I wanted to blog. So....I did. Bye.
