So, other than trying to get new plates, what's been going on with me?.......yup, pretty much not much. I played ultimate frisbee on Saturday. I went to church on Sunday. It was the first time in awhile. The last time, I went to the new year's eve serve at Journey Church in Albany.

I've been playing "Age of Empires" alot lately. I don't play it like you're supposed to though. I put it on Conquest Mode, in which you have to defeat all your enemies and destroy all their buildings. I put in a cheat code "bigdaddy", in which a car with a rocketlauncher appears (not typical to the game at all). I then quickly defeat all the enemies and destroy all but one building.

I then spend the whole game collecting the resources on the map. All of them. And I record my findings for every game I play. Each time I increase the size of the map. Everything else is the same. I use the same # of enemies, the same type of landscape, the same defaults in every game. I'm trying to find out if you get the same amount of resources every time you play a game using a tiny map, or a small map, or a medium map, or a large map, or a huge map. And I would like to know if the amount of resources you gets increases proportionately between each variable map size. Also, because it costs you resources to build workers and structures for storing your resources, I record how many units I use and how much money they each cost. I then figure that into the quantities or remaining resources....I know, it's completely arbitrary and useless...I'm bored.
I called my local police precinct 3 times (and I started calling around noon) asking to file the police report. I finally got a call back from an officer at 8:30pm. He took my info over the phone, but only after we had an argument over whether or not making a "police" report was "police" business. He said that sense I sent the tags in the mail and that's how they got lost, it was the post office's responsibility to take care of the "police" report...AAAHHHHH!!!!!!! I just waited quietly on the phone for a minute for the officer's words to sink into his own head. I was suprised it took so long for him to realize what he had just said.

That went down on thursday. Friday I went to the DMV with the police report # and told them the "police" had done the "police" report. They said I needed to hand the report to them, in person, before they would give me my new plates. So, I went back to the local precinct and asked if I could get the report to hand it in. They told me it takes 5-7 business days for the report to be processed. It is then sent to City Hall East, where I was sent originally and found I needed to go to the local precinct first. So now I have to go back to the 2nd City Hall to pick up the report

I have the phone # for the City Hall East. So, I will call every freakin' day until they say it is ready. Then I will go there, pick it up, and bring it to the DMV and hand it in, in person. Then, I should be able to get new plates for my car.

I should win an award for "Best Wild Goose Chase".

Walker, I appologize. Please forgive me.*

I am trying to get my car back on the road. Before I can fly to MS to get it I have to get new plates. I already have insurance. I went to the DMV to get new plates and reregister my car. I was told my registration was still valid. I said, "Ok, just give me new plates then, because I don't have any plates anymore." They then asked why this was so. I then told them I sent my plates in because I could not afford the insurance and my insurance pompany wouldn't cancel the policy until I sent the plates in and canceled my registration too. So, like a good idiot, I did what I was told.

Apparently the DMV never got my plates...it's been 2 months. So, they tell me my plates are lost or stolen. I need to file a police report before they can issue me new plates. They tell me to go to the City Hall East (apparently atlanta has 2 city halls). So I go there. They tell me to go upstairs to the police department and file the report there. So I go there. They then ask me what area my car was registered in. I tell them. Then they tell me I have to go to my local police precinct (Zone 3) to file the report....that's my next step.

It's taking so long just to get new plates. But once that's done it should all go alot faster and I'll be back in Albany. Hopefully, in time for Spina's 21st B-day!!!

It's even more likely than before that I will be moving back to Albany soon. There are some details to work out, like getting my car on the road and finding residence in Albany again and arranging a job, but it shouldn't take too long. I've already got my car title in the mail and I've looked up insurance quotes. After I get my car on the road I can fly to Mississippi and get it!

I'm at the library trying to view my blogsite but I can't. It's saying I am not authorized to view it!? WTF, mate? Stupid libraries and their retarded sensorship. I understand needing to block inappropriate and offensive material, but my blogsite!?

And...more photos of out trip to the falls.

More cool photos of the waterfalls. It was beautiful there. The mist off the falls creates frost on the cliffs that are not in direct sunlight. We also saw lots of rainbows. Water Vapor + Sunlight = Rainbow

Today, I went to Letchworth State Park (in NY) with Walker, Ashley, and Kerry. It was fun. The main attraction was the waterfalls. There's the upper, middle, and lower falls. There were alot of smaller secondary falls that also feed the Genesee River. Here are some photos:

For those of you who don't already know I'm thinking about moving back to Albany. I've been talking with my pastor back home about it. It might not happen for a few months though. Or it might happen sooner than that. I have to talk to a few people about it first. I don't want to just move and not plan ahead. I need to focus on some personal stuff and I want to be where I can get the most support.

Christmas was good. Everything I got was Sudoku related. And if you read on of my previous blogs it says that I'm getting sick of Sudoku. Well, I guess I like it again...I think.

I want to buy an air-pistol. Maybe a Daisy or a Crosman. Someone buy me one and mail it to me. : )
