I'm excited. By August 3rd I will be returning to Albany. But for how long? I have to find out some info still. I plan on getting an apartment with two other mission year guys. It might be the house they lived in during this past year. It may be their next door neighbors house. All I know is I need to find out when we move in. That way I can buy my return ticket for the appropriate day. That's how I plan on doing it, I go back when we get a place to stay. It could be two weeks. It could be five weeks. We will see.

The only other thing is where will I live? How will I get around? I may adapt from MARTA to CDCT...i.e., public transit. It would be awesome if I could borrow a vehicle from somewhere. If not, I'm sure my friends will offer, when they're available.

There's so much to think about...I can't get lazy with serving the inner-city. I am intent on staying focused. Also, there are other things to do: I need to find a job. I need to finalize the apartment. I need to take care of stuff so I can apply for school. Transportation, the motorcycle, will need to be arranged so I can get to work, school, visit Albany, get from A to B.

Hopefully that all will work out. If not, it may be a short move. But I have faith that God will lead me. Even if I realize that staying in Atlanta was not meant to be, I know that God works all things for the good of those who love and obey Him.

I didn't get to go to the over-night camp. Our summer camp has been planning a three day trip. We were all going to go camping, in cabins. But there wasn't enough room at the inn (the cabins). I have to stay in Atlanta. Oh well, I wouldn't be blogging if I was camping now, would I?

I was complaining all day about having to come home early yesturday, on my day off. Crystal wanted to go to bed early and be rested up for the long trip to the over-night camp. We all had to make it back for team devotions so she could sleep early, or so I thought. I made such a fuss about it too. But it turned out that my teammates threw a suprise B-day party for me last night. It was everyone elses only day off and they would be at the over-night camp on my birthday. So, last night was the perfect night. And it was a total suprise. The party was awesome. My friend Phil gave me a card and a bag of chips. The card said "I know you like to gamble so I bought you some 'chips'. Don't use them all in one hand. Use your left hand too." Aparantly everyone knows I like food. I recieved two bags of chips. A two-liter of Coke. A big bag of m&m's. And another food related card. It said something about a deli being open "24"/7.
