BUSY BUSY BUSY
hey folks. bigD here. I've been so busy. sorry. i know I harp on people for not updating blogs and here I am not updating my blog, much.
things are good at orange grove. we have 70 people here now. all busy and doing good work rebuilding homes devestated by Katrina. My job has been to give everyone entering our village a job to do. So I call home owners, visit their destroyed homes, find out what work needs to be done, match the work with the right people with the right skills from each group. Basically, I keep everyone busy, and that keeps me busy. And then (dot dot dot) I have to deliver supplies, replace broken generators and the like, answer questions about the job, make sure the volunteers can get into the house (once a group of mine got locked out of a house).
I work about 75-80 hours per week on average. For $100 per month. But I love the work. I am helping people who need it. And God is here. Things that are out of my control always work out. It's definately God. There's no other way.
Well, forgive me for cutting this short but I have to get work for 110 people arriving between now and sunday. YEAY!!!!! Keep in touch. Email me. Call me: 601-695-1971 (work cell, lost my personal cell)
