The other night when I was watching "copycat" (see prev. blog) I broke the computer, almost. I was blogging, updating my profile, and trying to change that depressing picture of me. ---------------------> But the picture I wanted to use was too big. So I downloaded Ez-pix and installed it on the computer. The computer froze when I tried to resize the picture. I couldn't "control"+"alt" and "delete". So I had to do a hard shut down. The scandisk came up upon restarting and the computer froze again in the middle of scanning. This happened six times. Then, I got the blue screen of death. However, it told me that I could hit "esc" to reboot the computer. At this point the computer goes black and all I got was a cursor blinking in the top left corner of the screen. And every time I hit a button I got the same message. It said something about loading the reboot disk. I turned the computer on and off a few times and all I got was the black screen and that cursor and the message. I went to bed afraid that I would gave to buy a new computer for the person we were housing for. But the next morning (my birthday) I turned on the computer and it started right up after doing another scan.
